ANNOUNCEMENT OF  VACANCY  FOR THE NCCA
EXECUTIVE  DIRECTOR  POSITION

The National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) hereby  announces  the  vacancy  of   the EXECUTIVE  DIRECTOR  position. (NOTE: FOR  RE-POSTING  PURPOSES ONLY)

Interested applicants who meets the minimum qualification standards  for the position as required by the Civil Service Commission may submit a Letter of Intent with attached supporting documents on or before  NA.

I. POSITION TITLE:

POSITION EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR III

SALARY GRADE  28
STATUS  PRESIDENTIAL  APPOINTEE
PLACE OF APPOINTMENT Office of the  Executive Director, NCCA, Intramuros, Manila

II. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

ELIGIBILITY CAREER EXECUTIVE SERVICE OFFICER (CESO)  /
CAREER EXECUTIVE  SERVICE ELIGIBILITY (CESE)
EDUCATION Master’s Degree Holder 
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE 5 years  Managerial/Supervisory experience
RELEVANT TRAINING Minimum of   120  hours  of  Managerial Training for the last 5 years
BATTERY OF  TESTS Essay/ Technical Exams  and  Panel Interview

The following positions are open to all applicants who meet the minimum requirements set by the Civil Service Commission as herein specified:

Position Title: INFORMATION OFFICER
Status: Contract of Service
Place of Assignment: Public Affairs and Information Office (PAIO)
Salary Grade: SG 11
Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree holder relevant to position applied for
  • Analytical with above average written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized with good coordination skills
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge in graphic design; submit portfolio of works

Position Title: CULTURE & ARTS OFFICERS
Status: Contract of Service
Place of Assignment: PPFPD/Cultural Communities and Traditional Arts Section/Arts Section
Salary Grade: SG 11
Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree holder preferably  Social Science courses, Communication Arts/ Media Arts or its relevant courses
  • Good verbal & written communication skills
  • Good interpersonal skills 
  • Highly adaptable; Good interpersonal skills
  • Preferably with one year experience in program/project development

Position Title: HR OFFICER (PAYROLL)
Status: Contract of Service
Place of Assignment: Admin and Finance Division / HR 
Salary Grade: SG 11
Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree holder in Accounting or its relevant courses
  • Preferably with two years experience in Payroll & Human Resource Information System (HRIS)
  • Analytical with above average written and verbal communication skills; 
  • Highly adaptable; Good interpersonal skills
  • Keen eye in details; Highly organized
