Position Title: Associate Construction Manager
Status: Project Hire
Place of Assignment: Office of the Executive Director/Metropolitan Theater

Minimum Requirements: 

  • BS Electrical, BS Sanitary Engineering Graduate or its relevant courses;
  • LICENSED;
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Can deal with all levels in the organization
  • Good logical reasoning ability with sound judgment
  • Pro-active & has the ability to analyze & solve complex issues, understanding of history, cultural and environmental concerns
  • Five (5) years of demonstrated successful track record as Project or Construction Manager
Job description
  1. Assist the Construction Manager in the review and preparation of materials attached to the instructions to the Contractor and supervising the construction in accordance with the directives of the NCCA MET Project Team in coordination and collaboration with the Office of the Executive Director and Project Coordinator.
  2. Assist the Construction Manager in determining and preparing variation orders regarding variations of the forms, quality or quantity of the works, or any part thereof that may be necessary and appropriate, including the valuation of such variation orders. for approval by the Procuring Entity.
  3.  Assist in reviewing all requests by the Contractor for contract time extension and determining whether such requests are justified and the amount of such extension, for approval by the Procuring Entity.
  4. Conduct of review and recommendations for the different discipline works for implementation, variation orders, and coordination as well as cost estimates on the following discipline and its relevant links in the project.
  5. Determining and recommending any suspension of work, or any part thereof, that may be necessary including the financial and other implications of such work suspension.
  6. Shall assist the Construction Manager in supervising and enforcing necessary safety measures during construction.
  7. Shall assist the Construction Manager in the submission of the monthly Progress Reports: 2 copies within five days after the end of each calendar month.
  8. Assist the Construction Manager in furnishing the Procuring entity full and final report and Construction Report: upon completion of the works, accompanied with 1 set of Construction records comprising of the as-built drawings, photographs of the construction and accident reports which has been submitted by the Contractor and approved by the Procuring Entity’s representative.
  9. Shall be responsible for construction management and supervision of the assorted disciplines and assisting Construction Manager with the other discipline works and coordination with Consultant and Project Coordinator for any queries to the design and shall monitor the execution of such.
  10. Assist the Construction Manager in all communications involving construction supervision and management between Construction management team through the Procuring entity and Contractor in coordination and collaboration with Office of the Executive Director and Project Coordinator.
  11. Assigned full time during construction.
  12. Reviewing and recommending for approval the as-built drawings submitted by the Contractor after the completion of the work.
  13. Perform necessary inspection to conduct punch listing, examine remedial works and instruct the Contractor to expedite any remedial measures to be undertaken.
  14. The Associate Construction Manager upon completion of the construction. Shall perform inspection and certify to the Procuring Entity the date of completion of works
  15. Prepare a Final Certificate only when the works are reinstated to the satisfaction of the Procuring Entity, and in accordance with the design and specifications as provided for in the Contract,
  16.  And Perform other tasks that may be assigned by the immediate supervisor, i.e. Project Coordinator and the Executive Director from time to time. Note the assignments may be changed subject to mutual agreement between the second part and the supervisor with the concurrence of the Executive Director.

Place of Assignment: Office of the Executive Director / Procurement Section
Salary Grade: xxx
Minimum Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree Holder
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized and with strong attention to details
  • Preferably with 1-year relevant experience in Procurement
  • Preferably familiar with the new Government Procurement Reform Act (RA9184) and its procedures.

Position Title: Project Development Officer III (Anticipated vacancy)
Status: Contractual
Place of Assignment: Program Monitoring and Evaluation Division
Salary Grade: 18
Minimum Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree holder;
  • Civil Service Eligible (2nd level)
  • Analytical with excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Highly organized and keen in details;
  • Can deal with all levels in the organization as well as transactions with various organizations and agencies, local and international
  • Good leadership and management skills
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years relevant experience and 8 hours relevant training

Place of Assignment: PPFPD / Cultural Heritage Section
Salary Grade: xxx
Minimum Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree holder in LAW or JURIS DOCTOR;
  • Civil Service Professional/ RA 1080;
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills;
  • Good interpersonal skills;
    Good logical reasoning ability with sound judgment;
  • Pro-active & has the ability to analyze & solve complex issues;
  • Organized & strong work ethics w/ high level of confidentiality;
  • Has the ability to display a strong attention to details;
  • Must have a minimum of 5 years relevant work experience and a member of the Bar;
  • Must be able to present an updated Mandatory Continuing Legal Education (MCLE) Certificate for the current compliance period;
  • Must be able to present Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) Certificate of Good Standing for the current year.

Position Title: Computer Programmer
Status: Project Hire
Place of Assignment: Office of the Executive Director
Salary Grade: 15
Minimum Requirements: 

  • BS Computer Science graduate or its relevant courses
  • Knowledgeable in PHP or ASP.NET and WordPress
  • Highly organized; good interpersonal skills
  • With one (1) year relevant experience & 4 hours relevant training
