The Days of Russian Culture in the Philippines will be held on October 20-23, 2016 in celebration of the 40th Anniversary of PH-Russia Diplomatic Relations.
In celebration of the 40th Anniversary of the Philippines- Russia Diplomatic Relations, the National Commission for Culture and the Arts of the Philippines and the Ministry of Culture of Russia, in cooperation with the Cultural Center of the Philippines and the Embassy of the Russian Federation in will be holding the Days of Russian Culture in the Philippines on October 20-23, 2016.
The gala performance will be at the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) Little Theater on October 21, 2016 at 7:30 PM. Park goers will also be treated to a night of Russian music on October 23, 2016 at the Rizal Park Open-Air Auditorium in Manila. Both events will feature the L.G. Zykina State Academic Russian Folk Ensemble (ROSSIYA), Nikolay Medvedev (piano), Natalia Dmitrievskaia (soprano), and Dmitry Grigoriev (bass).
The event is in line with the Executive Protocol on Cooperation between the National Commission for Culture and the Arts of the Republic of the Philippines and the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation for 2014-2016. The Days of Russian Culture in the Philippines will feature various activities that aim to attract the general public to promote awareness and appreciation of Russian culture.
