It is with great sadness that the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) informs the culture and arts community of the passing away last night (October 22, 2015) of a dedicated public servant, Atty. Antonio M. Santos, Director of the National Library of the Philippines, a member of the NCCA and National Historical Commission of the Philippines (NHCP) Boards, and former Head of the NCCA-National Committee on Libraries and Information Service (NCLIS). He suffered from heart attack while on tour of duty in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Details on interment will follow.
