The Asian Institute of Management offers a five day program on Designing and Developing Sustainable Tourism on May 23-27, 2016.

In its pursuit of providing relevant courses through continuing education program to various tourism stakeholders in the Philippines, the Dr. Andrew L. Tan Center for Tourism will be offering a program entitled Designing and Developing Sustainable Tourism this coming May 23-27, 2016 at the Asian Institute of Management. This program aims to increase the private sectors’ and LGU’s overall capacity to implement sustainable tourism development plans within their scope.

Topics on tourism economics, the nature of costs, risks and budgeting, stakeholder management, marketing, and business development aim to provide better understanding of how the tourism private sector thinks. Courses on ecotourism and sustainable tourism development discuss ways in which tourism can meet social and environmental goals in a Philippine setting.

The program was launched last October 19-23, 2015. For further details about the outcome of the first run of the program, please visit: http://alt-tourism.aim.edu/blog/2015/11/designing-and-developing-sustainable-tourism.
