The aim of Kabansa Conference 2017 is to acquaint the public on how to preserve and conserve our cherished local and national heritage.
The Association of Studies Centers in the Philippines (KABANSA) will be holding a national conference on Local Heritage Preservation in the Philippines on January 27- 28, 2017 to be hosted by the City of Santa Rosa. The aim of this conference is to acquaint the public on how to preserve and conserve our cherished local and national heritage by conducting lecture/discussions on the value of local history and culture, establishment of a heritage center, how to make project proposal on heritage preservation, local history writing, etc. The first day of the conference are lecture sessions while the second day will be devoted to a tour in Santa Rosa which will be spearheaded by the Santa Rosa Studies Center. This activity is in partnership with the City of Santa Rosa, Santa Rosa Studies Center, Cavite Studies Center, Social Sciences Department of DLSU-Dasmariñas and the Philippine Historical Association.
Conference registration fee is 500 pesos only to include meals for January 27, kit and certificate of participation. Tour for the second day shall be arranged separately with the conference secretariat.
