In celebration of its 15th year of providing arts services through documentation and promotion of locally available art production technology and resources, ARTIST Production Accessories and Resource Services Association Incorporated (ARTIST-PARS Assoc. Inc.), launches a 4-day camp entitled Sa Aking Kabata: Youth Camp on Arts, Heritage and Environment in cooperation with the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA). It will be held on August 2-5, 2017 at the University of the Philippines Los Baños.
The gathering of youth aims to enrich the sector’s knowledge in preserving the environment and addressing concerns in natural disasters while honing their creative skills and capability to produce new works by utilizing locally available arts resources and cultural practices. Included components of the camp are heritage tours, workshops, lecture-forums, and community and heritage site interactions.
