The National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) led by its Executive Director Rico S. Pableo Jr. was in Davao to echo in the region its Call for Project Proposals for the 2018 NCCA Competitive Grants Program.

“Culture and arts must bear the value of Malasakit”; said director Pableo during the press conference held at the SM City Davao today.

Joined by NCCA Cultural Communities and Traditional Arts Section Head Renee Talavera and Literary Arts Committee Member John Bengan, ED Pableo highlighted NCCA’s focus in forwarding the values of Marangal, Malikhain, Mapagbago and that of Malasakit as envisioned in the Philippine Development Plan 2017 – 2022 in the on going call for proposals.

As NCCA gears toward the year 2018, it is opening further channels for collaboration with LGUs, academic institutions both private and public, CSOs, IP groups and other sectors. For more information on the ongoing call for proposals, visit: https://ncca.gov.ph/about-ncca-3/grants-program/
