Artist Bryle Flores shares his animated tribute to the Fernando Amorsolo

Today is the 124th birth anniversary of Fernando Amorsolo, National Artist for Painting.

The country had its first National Artist in Fernando C. Amorsolo. The official title “Grand Old Man of Philippine Art” was bestowed on Amorsolo when the Manila Hilton inaugurated its art center on January 23, 1969 with an exhibit of a selection of his works.

Just in time for his birthday, Artist Bryle Flores shares his tribute to the Maestro, an animated rendition of the Grand Old Man’s paintings of Filipina beauty.
