The CCP once again celebrates Halloween with TRICKS & MUSICAL TREATS: A PPO FAMILY CONCERT – a special production for children of all ages that features the country’s premier orchestra, the Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra (PPO).

This year’s Halloween concert with the theme, MUSICAL ADVENTURES AT CAMP HARMONIA, MEET BLOOMINIA AND THE PPO RANGERS, features a nature camp setting where children can experience various fun activities and get re-acquainted with native Filipino games like “sipa” and “luksong tinik” and other interactive games.Ms.Liesl Batucan provides the lively narration, while Maestro Herminigildo Ranera conducts the PPO in a selection of works that include light classics, Walt Disney music, popular film music, Filipino folk songs, and a lot more.The PPO introduces elements of the symphony orchestra and classical music appreciation to young audiences in a fun and enjoyable way.

Pre-concert activities include a musical instruments petting zoo where children can try their hands in playing different orchestral instruments. There will also be trick-or-treating and lobby activities where loot bags of surprises will be given away. Children are encouraged to come in their best camping/hiking attire to win prizes for a complete Halloween experience!
