What is Good Design Award Philippines?

The Good Design Award Philippines is the country’s design excellence recognition program celebrating objects, images, places, and systems that embody the principles of good design and Philippine value of malasakit in improving the quality of human life and making the world a better place. 

The Good Design Award Philippines is a design recognition program awarded by the Department of Trade and Industry through the Design Center Philippines.

What are the benefits of winning in the Good Design Award Philippines?

In addition to becoming a champion of the Philippines’ brand of design excellence, awardees will receive the following:

All Good Design Award Philippines Awardees (Red, Gold, Green and Gran Prix):

  1. Good Design Award Philippines trophy and certificates corresponding to the specific award category;
  2. Lifetime use of the Good Design Award Philippines Mark bearing the year it was awarded;
  3. Feature in a dedicated website gallery for Good Design Award Philippines winning entries;
  4. Press, PR and other promotional activities;
  5. Participation in the Award Ceremony; and
  6. Inclusion on the Good Design Award Philippines Yearbook.

For Good Design Award Philippines Gold, Green and Gran Prix Awardees, the additional benefit below shall be granted:

  1. Exhibition at October Manila FAME 2019

Who are eligible to join?

Good Design Award Philippines is open to Philippine-registered enterprises, designers, and creatives from both private and public sectors with fully realized and/or executed designs of objects, places, images or systems.

Entries must not be more than five years since date of launch, or have been in the market by or after September 2014.

Deadline for submission of entries is on August 15, 2019.
