Larry Merciales, an artist, a photographer and an architect by profession.

An emerging artist, one of the enlisted artist of NCCA (National Commission for Culture and the Arts, Philippines) and a member of United Architects of the Philippines (UAP).

His art is unique for he is using Ballpoint Pens on canvas as his medium instead of traditional art paint brush. His creations are portraits displaying the different culture of the Philippines that slowly fading away as well as the images of Indigenous people (katutubo).
He had an exhibition in NCCA and the latest was in Cartoon Art Gallery in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Sponsored by Philippine Consulate General Dubai.

On February 15 – 26, 2020, he will hold another exhibition, this time in Chengdu China. In cooperation with Youfeng International Trade Co., Ltd (thru YF Events and Activities) as organizing party, in support by Philippine Consulate and Embassy and NCCA.
And as his tradition, majority of the profit from the sale of his artworks will goes to handicap and aesthetics community of Chengdu through Yiren Social Work Service Center, a non-governmental organization and the remaining goes to indigenous community of the Philippines.
