Tellano, and supervising officer for administration Bernan Joseph R. Corpuz, in partnership with the Cultural Center of the Philippines – Office of the President (CCP), is producing a cultural digital program primarily designed for the new normal era, titled Padayon: the NCCA Hour. Padayon: the NCCA Hour mainly aims to use the time of the quarantine to ignite and instill in all Filipinos the appreciation for and love of arts and culture and inculcate a sense of understanding and pride in our heritage and what makes us distinctly Filipino. Padayon: The NCCA Hour is composed of three main segments namely, Sining Aral, Sining Saya, and Samo’t Sining; and four special segments namely, Bukang Isip, Laro Tayo, Siningspirasyon, and Sining Galaw. Sining Aral is the educational and informative part of the show, where educational topics will be discussed, such as Epikong Bayan, Philippine history, Noli Me Tangere, El Filibusterismo, Philippine languages, among others. While Sining Saya is the informative but entertaining part of the show. It features various personalities from different fields, recorded dance performances, and cultural presentations with annotations from hosts and experts. In Samo’t Sining, this is the drone’s view of what is happening at NCCA — current projects and activities related to the 19 national committees; and the CCP – Office of the President’s Outreach Programs in the regions. Snappy but substantial interviews with NCCA officials and other personalities in the arts and culture sector. Also, the four special segments are as follows: Bukang Isip, a 1-minute capsule interview of various personalities from the cultural sector; Laro Tayo which involves “Question of the Day” where hosts shall give out a question related to the day’s topic to be answered by online viewers/audience; SiningInspirasyon which features inspiring stories of artists during the lockdown; and Sining Galaw, the week-ender segment which features a compilation of performances, and artworks, among others.
