The National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA), the Embassy of the Philippines in Jakarta through the Sentro Rizal Jakarta and Adarna House Incorporated recently conducted story telling workshops for Indonesian and Filipino teachers from April 29 until May 5.

NCCA, PH Embassy In Korea Opens 17th Sentro Rizal, Features Pinoy Films

The seventeenth branch of Sento Rizal, a cultural office under the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA), was formally inaugurated at the Chancery of the Embassy of the Republic of the Philippines in Seoul, Korea last March 6, 2016. Sentro Rizal Holds Film Fest in Bangkok and Xiamen

SRFF screened three award winning films starting with Ida Anita del Mundo’s K’na The Dreamweaver which took on the lives and the art of the T’nalak weavers of the T’boli group of the southern Philippines. Audience also relived the lives of two of the renowned Filipino heroes with Enzo Williams’ Bonifacio Ang Unang Pangulo and Jerrold Tarog’s Heneral Luna.

Sentro Rizal Phnomh Penh Recognizes Pilot Language Program Graduates

Twenty-four (24) youth, aged 5 to 12, completed the “Masayang Matutuo ng Wikang Filipino” module of the language program spearheaded by the National Commission for Culture and the Arts through its Sentro Rizal branch in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

Sentro Rizal Phnom Penh inaugurated in celebration of Rizal’s birth anniversary

The National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) headed by its Chairman Felipe de M. Leon Jr., and the Philippine Embassy in Cambodia, led the inauguration of the Sentro Rizal Phnom Penh (SRPP) on 19 June 2015 at the Philippine Embassy grounds. The inauguration coincided with the commemoration of Dr. Jose Rizal’s 154th birth anniversary.
