The National Commission for Culture and the Arts is pleased to announce the launch of Sentro Rizal’s new website at sentrorizal.ncca.gov.ph. The site features the latest activities and events organized by different SR sites, and digital content that highlight Filipino values.

Sentro Rizal was formally established by the NCCA in June 28, 2011 as the Philippine government’s official cultural arm dedicated to promote the country’s culture, arts, and languages throughout the world. The Center takes its name after Jose Rizal, whose writings sparked the Philippines’ quest for independence during the Spanish colonial era. A polymath and nationalist, Jose Rizal embodied the values of an ideal global Filipino.

On its 11th year, Sentro Rizal reaffirms its commitment to offer resource materials to help nurture culturally-literate overseas Filipino communities. To date there are 36 centers across the globe that are ready to welcome anyone who is interested in anything Filipino!
