Melodious drama filled the Metropolitan Theater on June 29 as the Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra and guest performers presented a set list composed of official soundtracks (OSTs) from different Korean dramas at the OST Symphony: K-Drama in Concert. The Korean Ambassador of the Philippines, H.E. Lee Sang-Hwa, delivered his message, and guests were welcomed at the Metropolitan Theater by the deputy executive director of the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA), Joseph Bernan Corpuz, followed by the message of the president of the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP), Kaye Tinga. Hosted by NCCA, the Korean Cultural Center in the Philippines, and CCP, this event celebrates the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Korea and the Philippines
The public was able to tune in to Korean culture, and K-Drama fans had an indulging experience as selected K-Dramas’ OSTs brought by the Korean wave in the Philippines were performed by the Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra. The resounding set list performed includes “My Destiny” from My Love from the Star; “You Are My Everything” from Descendants of the Sun; “A Song for My Brother” from Crash Landing on You; Mr. Sunshine’s Theme; “Endless Story” from The World of the Married; White Tower’s Theme; Squid Game’s Theme; “Flower Day” from Hwang Jin Yi; “Oh, Country” from Jewel in the Palace; “All In Theme”; “Light of Destiny”, “Yeong’s Waltz”, “Because I Miss You”, and “Raon’s Song” from Love in the Moonlight; “In My Heart” and “Yellow Light” from King the Land; and “Running” from Start Up.

A back-to-back performance by Filipina singers Pop Princess Zephanie Dimaranan sang “Nagbago ang Daigdig” from a Filipino television series, My Guardian Alien, while Asia’s Limitless Star Julie Anne San Jose performed the English version of “You Are My Everything” from the iconic romcom K-Drama, Descendants of the Sun.
Korean singer Gaho performed “Start Over,” hyping up the audience. In 2020, during the airing of Itaewon Class, the song became a notable OST as it heightened public excitement as they watched the drama.
The set list for the concert concluded with “I Will Go To You Like the First Snow” from Goblin, bringing back memories for fans since 2016 when the show first aired on television and online platforms.
