established in 1981 with a mission to collect and preserve the documented materials on the economic history of the Philippines and the developmental history of the Bank

holdings include memorabilia, legislative documents, speeches, publications, pamphlets, staff papers, newspaper clippings, biographical records of Bank governors & policy-making officers, photo records of special events and inaugurals

finding aids are indexes and registers of collections

located at Central Bank Complex, Roxas Blvd. Manila

Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP) Archives

started in 1947 when DBP was known a the Rehabilitation Finance Corporation

holdings are mostly administrative issuances on paper and microfilm

Corporate Secretary of DBP supervises the archives office located at Gil J. Puyat Ext. cor Makati Avenue, Makati City

Government Service and Insurance System (GSIS) Archives

established in 1995 with core collection coming from the GSIS Records Center (GSIS Extension Office, Quezon City)

holdings consist mostly of business transactions, real estate and retirement records of members

located at GSIS Building, Financial Center Complex, Pasay City. The building also houses a museum and exhibit area that showcase the historical development of GSIS since 1945.

Asian Development Bank (ADB) Archives

started in 1994 with a core collection of loan case files and administrative records holdings include 450 linear meters of records composed of text and audio-visual collections; photo archives holds 75,000 project slides, 17,000 prints and 10,000 negative rolls described in the UNESCO WEBSITE on the Guide to the Archives of Intergovernmental Organizations archives may be searched using the Lotus Notes database Bank Archives Information System

Manila Hotel Archives

opened in August 1983 to serve as the repository of various trophies, awards, citations and memorabilia of the world-famous Manila Hotel since it was established in 1912

holdings consist of written records, photographs, press clippings, restaurant menus, ads, postcards, souvenir items, books, magazines, commemorative stamps including long playing records

located along Bonifacio Drive, Port Area , Manila, the archives has also a research and exhibit area

Manila Electric Company (MERALCO) Archives

one of the earliest corporations in the Philippines having been established in 1903

holdings, 5% of which are in Spanish, include corporate records dating back to the 1900’s, pictures, relics and artifacts

located along Ortigas Avenue, Pasig City. the archives has an exhibit area and research room

San Miguel Corporation Archives

a unit under the Records Management Department of San Miguel Corporation, one of the country’s oldest corporations established in 1896

the unit is currently building up its archival collection, some of which are housed in an off-site storage area in Mandaluyong City

plans are underway for the initiation of an archival program for the corporation
