NATIONAL COMMITTEE ON ARCHIVES (NCA) - National Commission for Culture and the Arts

a. Support for Establishment of Archives

Qualification of the Proponent: 1. Regular requirements of the NCCA (refer to proposal form); 2. Schools/Universities/Colleges;3. Ecclesiastical Organizations/Associations; 4. Local Government Units (LGUs) and Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs).

Requirements for submission: 1. Regular requirements of NCCA (refer to proposal form); 2. Background of the institution/organization/church/School/University/ College; 3. List, range, and volume of the records; 4. Type of archival holding/s; 5. Photos of the storage and collections.

Criteria for evaluation of the proposals: 1. Capacity to provide space, human resource and facilities; 2. Proposal shall adhere to the necessary requisites in establishing an archive; 3. Indication of support for the project by the LGU Executive; 3. Capacity to provide counterpart funding.

b. Support for Restoration of Archival Holdings Affected by Natural Disasters

Qualification of the Proponent: 1. Regular requirements of the NCCA (refer to proposal form); 2. LGU, Academe, Ecclesiastical organizations/associations, NGOs;

Requirements for submission: 1. Regular requirements of NCCA (refer to proposal form; 2. Project must have undergone technical assistance under the Committee on Archives Technical Assistance Program 3. Archival materials must have cultural and historical value; 4. Physical condition of the archival materials;

Criteria for evaluation of the proposals: 1. Report on damage done by natural disaster; 2. Appointment status of LGU staff; 3. Space for the archives and workshop area.

c. Module Development for a Certificate Program on Archival Management

Qualification of the Proponent: 1. Regular requirements of the NCCA (refer to proposal form); 2. Universities/Colleges 3. Capability to provide counterpart funding.

Requirements for submission: 1. Regular requirements of NCCA (refer to proposal form); 2. Training module/course syllabus; 3. Profile and number of participants; 4. List and profile of resource persons/lecturer/trainor; 5. Accomplished project proposal form and detailed line-item budget.

Criteria for evaluation of the proposals: 1. University offering cultural studies; 2. Recognized by CHED; 3. Qualified to open continuing education program.

d. Publication of Proceedings During the 3^rd National Congress

Qualification of the Proponent: 1. Regular requirements of NCCA (project proposal form); 2. LGUs, Organizations, Institutions or Individuals.

Requirements for submission: 1. Regular requirements of NCCA (refer to proposal form); 2. Full project proposal and detailed line item budget; 3. Manuscript; 4. Quotations from three (3) publishing houses; 5. Recommendations from at least two (2) experts from the cultural sector/institution; 6. Distribution and marketing scheme.

Criteria for evaluation of the proposals: 1. Proponent must participate in the congress; 2. Must have basic knowledge in Archives; 3. Must have an experience in publication; 4. Manuscript must be publication-ready.

e. Seminar-Workshop on Archival Conservation

Qualification of the Proponent: 1. Regular requirements of the NCCA (refer to proposal form); 2. LGUs, NGOs, Universities/Colleges/School 3. Capability to provide counterpart funding.

Criteria for evaluation of the proposals: 1. Capacity to provide counterpart funding; 2. Good track record; 3. Minimum of 50 participants

f. International Training

Qualification of the Proponent: 1. Regular requirements of the NCCA (refer to proposal form); 2. Practicing Archivist in an institution; 3. Age of proponent should not be more than 45 years old 3. Capability of proponent to provide counterpart funding.

Requirements for submission: 1. Regular requirements of NCCA (refer to proposal form); 2. Two week-program on any archives concern/topic; 3. Re-entry plan; 4. Training module/program/course syllabus; 5. Profile of participants and organizing body; 6. List and Profile of resource persons/lecturer/trainor; 7. Letter of invitation/ acceptance from the sponsoring organization; 8. Two (2) recommendation letters from an academic institution/cultural agency; 9. Proposed itinerary of travel; 10. Accomplished project proposal form and detailed line-item budget; 9. Capacity to provide counterpart funding.

Criteria for evaluation of the proposals: 1. Must be practicing archivist in an institution; 2. Not more than 45 years old; 3. Has basic knowledge of the language of the host country; 4. Profile of the host institution; 5. Profile of the participant; 6. Re-entry plan (e.g. to conduct echo seminar).

g. Local Apprenticeship

Qualification of the Proponent: 1. Regular requirements of NCCA (refer to proposal form); 2. Individuals working in an institution that has existing archives or planning to set up one; 3. Age of proponent should not be more than 35 years old.

Requirements for submission: 1. Regular requirements of NCCA (refer to proposal form); 2. One (1) month apprenticeship program; 3. Re-entry plan; 4. MOA with the host institution; 5. Accomplished project proposal form and detailed line-item budget.

Criteria for evaluation of the proposals: 1. working in an institution with an existing archives or planning to set up one; 2. Not more than 35 years old; 3. Profile of the apprentice; 4. MOA with the institution; 5. Re-entry plan; 6. One month apprenticeship plan
