1. LUNTIANG POOK – A capacity-building project in the community to help develop public open spaces into environmentally-friendly, green environments, but also with disaster-resilient features during natural calamities;

Qualifiation of the Proponent: Open to NGOs, LGUs, SUCs, or Public Schools with counterpart funding and with no ongoing projects/outstanding unliquidated fund with the NCCA. Institutions and organizations with a track record and has been in existence for at least 3 years or have previously accomplished/completed similar or related projects

Requirements for submission:

  1. Complete Proponent Eligibility Requirements (contact NCCA Eligibility & Grant Processing Unit at  527-2192 loc 510);
  2. Complete project proposal with detailed line-item budget, schedule of activities, and work and financial plan duly signed by the Proponent on each proposal page;
  3. Project brief/research on the identified area which includes cultural setting, artifact, or regional cultural icon that should be protected through this Project;
  4. Sample of previous completed projects or works;
  5. Proposed module, project or comprehensive program that will cover at least three out of four disciplines of the architecture and allied arts (architecture, landscape architecture, urban planning, and interior design); and
  6. Endorsement from the LGU, SUC, schools and/or  community.

Criteria for evaluation of the proposals: Applied training workshops on environmental threats (e.g. flooding, earthquake, landslide, storm surge, etc.):   Openness of the Proponent for the committee- intervention in the module;  Participation of and/or partnership with the LGUs, SUCs, schools, and/or community.

Geographic Consideration:  Two (2) slots each in Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.
Budget per Project           : PhP 300,000 each for Luzon and Visayas

  1. PUBLICATION – Production and Development of Multi Media Interactive CD ROM or DVD, monograph or audiovisual material.

Qualification of the Proponent: Open to individuals, NGOs, LGUs, SUCs, or Public Schools with counterpart funding and with no ongoing projects/outstanding unliquidated fund with the NCCA. Institutions and organizations with a track record and has been in existence for at least 3 years or have previously  produced  similar or related projects; Individual proponents must be a member of any recognized architecture and allied arts organizations or associations; In case of non-licensed individual proponents, submission of an endorsement from a licensed professional or recognized institution, association or organization

Requirements for submission:

  1. Complete Proponent Eligibility Requirements (contact NCCA Eligibility & Grant Processing Unit at  527-2192 loc 510);
  2. Complete project proposal with detailed line-item budget, schedule of activities, and work and financial plan duly signed by the Proponent on each proposal page;
  3. Synopsis/ Project Brief;
  4. Sample of previous works/projects;
  5. Interactive Diagram/Storyboard/ Conceptual Framework; and
  6. Propose distribution and marketing  scheme.

Criteria  for  evaluation  of  the  proposals:  Pre-prepared  exhibit  to  be  converted  to  a  new  and interactive format for wider dissemination.  Must come in 2 output forms: publication and on-line

  1. ACADEMIC SUMMIT – A roundtable discussion/symposia on redefining design education and pedagogical theory and approaches to Philippine architecture and design of the built environment in the  21st century.

Qualification of the Proponent: Open to academic institutions preferably with academic programs of at least 2 out of the 4 disciplines, with counterpart funding, and with no ongoing projects/outstanding unliquidated fund with the NCCA. Institutions and organizations with a track record and has been in existence for at least 3 years or have previously implemented related projects.

Requirements for submission:
1. Complete Proponent Eligibility Requirements (contact NCCA Eligibility & Grant Processing Unit at  527-2192 loc 510);
2. Complete project proposal with detailed line-item budget, schedule of activities, and work and financial plan duly signed by the Proponent on each proposal page;
3. Profile of organizer and collaborating parties (if applicable);
4. Program/ schedule of activities/ coverage/ topics of training module/s including list of:

a. Sessions
b. Activities – individual and group dynamics
c. Presentation materials
d. Hand-outs/ written materials/ literature and the like
e. Evaluation form/ instrument to obtain participant feedback

5. List and profile of speakers, resource persons and/or facilitators;
6. Proposed or target number and/or profile of participants;
7. Proposed or target venue; and
8. Criteria and method of selection of participants (if applicable).

Criteria   for   evaluation   of   the   proposals:  Venue   for  at  least  250  participants/  regional representatives/ students and faculties; Representations from the alumni, LGU, professional practitioners included; Preferably, be held outside of Metro Manila;  Topic should be supportive/relevant to the theme; Speakers must be of reputable stature; Papers to be read for the first time; Free to the public.

Geographic Consideration:  One (1) slot each in NCR, Luzon and Visayas; Two (2) slots in Mindanao. Budget per Project  : PhP 150,000
