a. Cultural Mapping (Cultural profiling of artist’s groups and art galleries)

Qualification of the Proponent: Organizations, academic institutions or individuals with expertise or proven credentials in cultural mapping/profiling.

Requirements for submission:  1. Accomplished  project proposal form and detailed line-item budget; 2. Abstract of the cultural mapping; 3. Review of related literature; 4. Outline; 5. Methodology; 6. Two recommendation letters from an established cultural/art organizations/institutions

Criteria for evaluation of the proposals: 1. Track record of the cultural profiler; 2. Comprehensive in scope.

b. Lectures, Seminars and Workshops

Qualification of the Proponent: Organizations, Academic Institutions, Art/Cultural Associations, Government Agencies; LGUs.

Requirements for submission:  1. Regular requirements of NCCA (refer to proposal form); 2. List of artists and speakers with corresponding complete CVs including documentation of past artworks or lectures done in the past; 3. Topics or abstracts to be presented in the lectures; 4. Exhibit Theme if any; 5.Full blown project proposal and detailed line-item budget.

Criteria for evaluation of the proposals: 1. Suggested topics: Marketing and Promotion, Curatorial Tasks, Forgery, Intellectual Property, Addressing Art Trends and Issues through the creation of art works that culminate in an art exhibit for public awareness; 2. credibility and track record of speakers; 3. Venue should be appropriate, comfortable and accessible; 4. Involves story-telling of books illustrated by visual artists, with topics on environmental issues and advocacies (in collaboration with NCLIS)

c. Research leading to Publication/Curated Exhibition

Qualification of the Proponent: Art/Cultural Organizations, Academic institutions or individuals with expertise or proven credentials in research.

Requirements for submission:  1. Accomplished  project proposal form and detailed line-item budget; 2. Abstract of research; 3. Review of related literature; 4. Outline of Research; 5. Significance of the study; 6. Two recommendation letters from an established cultural/art organizations/institutions

Criteria for evaluation of the proposals: 1. Track record of the researcher/research team; 2. Output must be ready for publication or can be utilized in a curated exhibition.

d. Artist residency/art exchange

Qualification of the Proponent:  Artists organization, institution, Non-Governmental Organizations

Requirements for submission:  1. Regular requirements of NCCA (refer to proposal form); 2. Project Study / concept paper with specific parameters of scope / coverage; 3. Full blown project proposal and detailed line-item budget.

Criteria for evaluation of the proposals: 1. Track record of artist; 2. Comprehensive in scope; and 3. Artist should have won in an international or national art competition.

e. Art Conservation/Preservation Project (e.g. conservation treatment of artwork)/ Art Conservation Documentation / Survey (e.g. assessing condition of artwork, examination and documentation of artwork.)

Qualification of the Proponent: 1. Regular requirements of the NCCA (refer to proposal form); 2. Government agencies, LGUs, NGOs or Institutions.

Requirements for submission:  1. Regular requirements of NCCA (refer to proposal form); 2. Certification or proof of its authenticity; 3. profile / background of the conservator/s (conservator/s should be from a legitimate conservation school; should be a master’s degree holder in art conservation); 4. Full blown project proposal and detailed line-item budget.

Criteria for evaluation of the proposals: 1.The artwork should be significant to the public; 2. urgency for conservation attention; 3. artworks should be publicly-owned or should be exposed to the public / viewed by the public.
