Requirements for submission: (1) Complete Proponent Eligibility Requirements [please contact NCCA eligibility and Grants Processing Unit at 527-2192 loc.510]; and (2) Complete project proposal with detailed Line Item Budget, Schedule of Activities, and Work & Financial Plan, duly signed by the Proponent on each of proposal page; (3) Concept and Process/Methods of the Program; (4) Profile and Track Record of the Resource/Technical Persons or Theater Institution; (5) Profile of Envisioned Participants; and (6) Module/Topics/Syllabus of the Training Project
Criteria for selection/ evaluation:
A. ESTABLISHMENT OF COMMUNITY THEATRES
1) Must have a local partner as implementing organization**
2) Involvement of key groups and individuals in the local theatre/art scene
3) Presence of key project components: research (TNA and initial mapping); at least three (3) workshops; performance/s in the local venue/s
4) Mentoring by a senior practitioner to be designated by the CDA
B. STRENGTHENING EXISTING GROUPS
1) Local LGU and/or PO as partner**
2) Involvement of key groups and individuals in the local theatre/art scene
3) Presence of key project components: research (full mapping of local theatre practice); at least three (3) workshops; performance/s in the local venue/s, local content and forms/ local cultural icons, addressing key themes relevant to local contexts (environment protection and disaster preparedness, peace and development…)
4) Mentoring by a senior practitioner to be designated by the CDA
Budget allocation per project: Php 175,000.00 (Php 150,000.00 – for project; Php 25,000.00 for mentoring)

- Production Grant (choice of the following: A. New Works; or B. Traditional Forms)
Requirements for submission: (1) Complete Proponent Eligibility Requirements [pls contact NCCA eligibility and Grants Processing Unit at 527-2192 loc.510]; (2) Complete project proposal with detailed Line Item Budget, Schedule of Activities, and Work & Financial Plan, duly signed by the Proponent on each of proposal page; (3) Concept/Synopsis; (4) Profile of Creative; (5) Repertoire; and (6) List of Participating Artists/Performers
Criteria for selection/ evaluation:
CONTENT: addresses any of the ff. themes: environment, poverty alleviation, governance, peace, gender equality, celebrating Filipino identity, displacement
FORM: innovative, can contribute to the advancement of theater forms in the country.
‘Traditional forms’ refers to any of the indigenous/local and historical forms, e.g. Subli, Senakulo, Komedya, Sarswela,Bayok, or a contemporary staging of these forms by a group working closely with traditional practitioners as co-collaborators
Budget allocation per project: Php 150,000.00

- Capability Building for the Network (choice of the following: A. OD/Arts Management; or B. Artistic Community Building)
Requirements for submission: (1) Complete Proponent Eligibility Requirements [pls contact NCCA Eligibility and Grants Processing Unit at 527-2192 loc.510]; and (2) Complete project proposal with detailed Line Item Budget, Schedule of Activities, and Work & Financial Plan, duly signed by the Proponent on each of proposal page; (3) Concept and Process/Methods of the Program; (4) Profile and Track Record of the Resource/Technical Persons or Theater Institution; (5) Profile of Envisioned Participants; and (6) Module/Topics/Syllabus of the Training Project
Criteria for selection/ evaluation:
1) Proposed Capability Building Workshop addresses concerns in artistic development and arts management/organizational development of the network/ research for theater
2) Participants include at least 25 leading and emerging theater practitioners representing theater organizations in the region.

** Member of an established Regional Theater Network with credible institutional track record for conference management
- Research (choice of the following: A. Theater Icons, B. Profile of Theater Practice; or C. Traditional Theater)
Research paper or creative work on distinct theater practices in specific communities focusing on theater forms, a theater artist, and theater systems that have been in existence for a number of years and have been part of the community’s collective memory and practice.

Criteria for selection/ evaluation:
1) Must have identified theater researchers as consultants or actual researchers
2) must have a justification re: choice of outstanding theater icon/outstanding theater experience as subject of the research;
3) must have an established theater group with a track record to conduct projects
4) must have a listing of traditional theater practices.
Budget allocation per project: Php 125,000.00
