The National Committee on Central Cultural Communities, under the Subcommission on Cultural Communities and Traditional Arts (SCCTA), is one of the 19 national committees of the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA), the cultural arm of the government. It is composed of cultural leaders and workers (including cultural administrators, researchers, culture bearers, artists, and practitioners), representatives of non-government organizations, people’s organizations, including local government units or individuals knowledgeable in the culture of the Central Cultural communities and who work for the protection, promotion and development of the Central Cultural communities and their traditional arts.

The Executive Council shall consist of 15 members from legitimate community-based IP organizations representing the major cultural communities from Regions IV, V, VI, VII and VIII as follows:

3. Mangyan
4. Tagbanua / Pala’wan / Agutaynen / Cuyunon
5. Batak
6. Tagalog / Rombloanon / Bantoanon

Region V
7. Agta / Ita / Kabihug

Region VI
9. Ati of Guimaras / Iloilo
10. Ati of Antique / Aklan
11. Ati of Negros Occidental
12. Sulod / Bukidnon
13. Ilonggo / Hiligaynon / Kiniray-a / Aklanon

Region VII
14. Boholano / Cebuano

Region VIII
15. Abaknon / Waray

VISION
Isulong, paunlarin, at palaganapin ang kalinangan ng bawat komunidad upang makilala, maintindihan, maipagmalaki, at maglunsad ng pagkakapantay-pantay, at maging instrumento sa pagpapatuloy ng tahaking bumuo ng isang lahing pantay-pantay at nagkakaisang kumikilos tungo sa kaunlaran. (Advance, develop, and promote each culture for it to be known, be understood and be a source of pride and initiate equality and be an instrument in the continuing task of creating one classless race cohesively working towards progress.)

MISSION
1. Makilala, maintindihan at pahalagahan ang mga kultura at tradisyon sa loob at labas ng komunidad (To make known, understand, and give importance to culture and tradition within and outside the community);

2. Panatilihin at protektahan ang mga katutubong yaman (To preserve and protect the indigenous wealth);

3. Panindigan at ipagmalaki ang mga kultura at tradisyon (To make a stand for and be proud of culture and tradition);

4. Palaganapin at pangalagaan ang mga kaalaman at kaugalian (To promote and preserve the knowledge and tradition); at (and)

5. Pagpapalawak ng koordinasyon sa iba’t ibang ahensya ng gobyerno at organisasyon sa komunidad para sa gawaing pangkultura (To broaden the the community’s coordination with the different agencies of the government and organization on cultural work).
