The Turkish Radio and Television Corporation through the Embassy of Turkey in Manila invites participants to the 37th International 23rd April Children’s Festival which will be held from April 15-23, 2015 in Antalya, Turkey.
The TRT 23rd of April Children’s Festival is a gift from the founder of the Republic of Turkey, Mustafa Kemal Ataturk to the the children of Turkey on the occasion of the establishment of the national parliament. The festival is celebrated with the principle of “Peace in the homeland, Peace in the world” through the participation of other countries. This year, 50 countries are expected to participate in the celebrations.
Groups (maximum of 13 members) with maximum of two adult leaders/trainers are invited to participate in the festival. The participationg group will shoulder thei own airfare while accomodations and transportation within Turkey will be covered by the organizers.
The participants will be given the opportunity to perform shows reflecting their own culture and will participate in various television programs and festivities in the duration of the festival.
