Have fun this National Heritage Month with the NCCA Paper Craft Series. Download. Print. Create.
The 2016 National Heritage Month celebration has the theme “Pamilya Para sa Pamana” or Families for Heritage. As the basic unit of society, the role of Filipino families is important in the protection and preservation of our country’s history and cultural heritage.
The NCCA Paper Craft Series is a project that the whole family can make. Not only do you learn more about our heritage, it’s also a fun activity that kids and adults can enjoy.
We have the Rizal Monument (the de-facto national symbol), Manila Metropolitan Theater (the Grand Old Dame of Manila which is now undergoing restoration) and the Rice Terraces of the Philippine Cordilleras (2,000 year old architectural wonder which was inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1995). We have more projects in the future so just watch for it.
