Dayaw, conceptualized and hosted by Senator Loren Legarda, and produced by the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) and ABS-CBN News Channel (ANC), is a six-part, 30-minute weekly documentary series that focuses on the preservation of the country’s culture and heritage.
Dayaw Season 2: Episode 1 – Lasap – Nourishing a People
The second season’s first episode, Lasap – Nourishing a People, is about food and the ways we preserve, prepare and present food—starting with the salt-making tradition of the North, to the Halal of the South; from the meat preservation of the Cordilleras, to the tradition of rich cuisine of Pampanga and the desserts of Bulacan.
